Crest helps you understand your daily energy and sleep rhythm using Apple Health data that stays on your device.
Crest does not sell your data, does not use your health data for advertising or tracking, and does not upload your Apple Health data to developer-controlled servers.
The app reads selected Apple Health data only after you grant permission. The data is used to calculate daily energy, show sleep insights, and calibrate your own sleep rhythm.
With your permission, Crest may read the following data from Apple Health:
Crest may also store your in-app subjective check-ins, such as how you felt after waking up.
Crest is for personal wellness and self-reflection. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.
Crest stores app records locally on your device using Apple’s local persistence technologies. Apple Health data remains protected by Apple Health permissions.
Crest does not operate a backend server for collecting your health data. Crest does not sell, rent, or share your health data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party analytics services.
If a future version adds optional account, backup, cloud sync, or third-party services, this policy will be updated before those features are used.
You control Apple Health access. You can change or revoke Crest’s Health permissions at any time:
After access is revoked, Crest will no longer be able to read those Apple Health data types.
Local Crest records remain on your device unless you delete them in the app, clear local data through available app controls, or uninstall the app. Apple Health data is managed by Apple Health and your iOS settings.
Crest is intended for general wellness use and is not directed to children. Crest does not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-controlled servers.
Crest may be used by people in different countries or regions. The app is designed so health data processing happens on the user’s device unless a future version clearly introduces optional cloud features.
This policy may be updated when Crest changes how it handles data. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
