Exif Privacy helps you inspect hidden photo metadata, remove private fields, and verify a clean copy before sharing.
Exif Privacy does not sell your data, does not use your photos or metadata for advertising or tracking, and does not upload your selected photos or photo metadata to developer-controlled servers.
The app processes photos you choose on your device. Your original photo is not changed; Exif Privacy creates a separate clean copy for sharing or saving.
When you choose a photo, Exif Privacy may read the image file and its embedded metadata, including:
Exif Privacy may also store small local app settings, such as whether onboarding has been completed, your selected app language, and a local clean-export count used for product testing.
Exif Privacy is a photo privacy utility. It does not provide backup, cloud storage, identity verification, or account services.
Photo scanning, metadata removal, and verification are performed on your device using iOS system frameworks. Exif Privacy does not operate a backend server for collecting your photos or photo metadata.
Your selected original photo remains in your photo library and is not modified by Exif Privacy. Cleaned images are held in the app while you use the workflow and may be shared or saved only when you choose those actions.
Exif Privacy does not sell, rent, or share your photos, photo metadata, or local app settings with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party analytics services.
If a future version adds optional account, backup, cloud sync, StoreKit purchases, analytics, crash reporting, or third-party services, this policy will be updated before those features are used.
Exif Privacy uses the iOS photo picker so you can choose which photo to import. The app only receives the photo you select through the system picker.
If you choose to save a clean copy to Photos, Exif Privacy requests add-only photo library permission. This permission is used only to write the clean copy. You can change photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings:
After access is revoked, Exif Privacy will no longer be able to save clean copies to your photo library unless you grant permission again.
Local app settings remain on your device unless you reset them through available app or system controls, or uninstall the app.
Selected photo data and cleaned copies used inside the app workflow remain local to your device. Clean copies that you save to Photos are managed by the Photos app and your iOS settings. Clean copies that you share are handled by the destination apps or services you choose.
Exif Privacy is not directed to children. Exif Privacy does not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-controlled servers.
Exif Privacy may be used by people in different countries or regions. The app is designed so photo processing happens on the user’s device unless a future version clearly introduces optional cloud features.
This policy may be updated when Exif Privacy changes how it handles data. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.

Exif Privacy 使用 iOS 系统照片选择器，让你选择要导入的照片。App 只会收到你通过系统选择器选择的照片。
如果你选择将清理副本保存到照片，Exif Privacy 会请求仅添加照片图库权限。该权限仅用于写入清理副本。你可以随时在 iOS 设置中修改照片权限：

Exif Privacy 不专门面向儿童。Exif Privacy 不会通过开发者控制的服务器有意收集儿童个人信息。
Exif Privacy 可供不同国家或地区的用户使用。除非未来版本明确加入可选云功能，照片处理会在用户设备上完成。
